The first round of speakers have been announced for the inaugural Working at Height Conference & Awards, set for Nov. 19-20 in Nashville. Jointly organised by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Access, Lift & Handlers (ALH) magazine, the event will focus on the use of aerial work platforms to increase productivity and safety on jobsites.

Attendees at the recent ALH Conference have been urged to adopt the ANSI suite of standards related to the design, safe-use and training of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) in the US ahead of them being adopted into law by OSHA.

Judges for the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) 2023 have been confirmed. Comprising five long-standing access experts, with a wealth of knowledge across the sector, the independent panel will assess entries across the 12 categories.

An equality, diversity and inclusion award category has been added to the IAPAs for 2023 – a key objective of IPAF’s ongoing Women in Powered Access Initiative.
