  • The IPAF Asia Regional Council held its first meeting of 2026 on March 24 to outline strategic priorities, focusing on regional growth and collaborative initiatives. A primary topic of discussion was a proposed Regional Joint Campaign to encourage mandatory accident and near-miss reporting, as the council explores strategies to shift industry culture from "blame" toward proactive prevention.

  • Across the region, we are seeing a significant increase in both new IPAF members joining the community and training activity being carried out at higher levels than ever before.

  • IPAF is excited to announce that once again it will be exhibiting at the APEX Show 2026, taking place from 2–4 June 2026 at the MECC in Maastricht, Netherlands.

  • IPAF is event partner for Arbeitssicherheit Schweiz, where we will exhibit on May 20-21 2026 together with a selection of our IPAF training centre members – Driving Graubünden, Indupro AG, Kompetenzzentrum für Arbeitssicherheit AG and Swiss Logistic Academy AG.

  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has released a new eLearning MEWP Spotter Training Course, designed for anyone who assists a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) operator in safely manoeuvring a machine into position.

  • IPAF has released ePAL version 3.2, introducing a range of new features designed to improve record keeping, data sharing and usability, alongside general stability and platform updates.

Launched in June 2021, the ePAL app, developed by Trackunit, reached the one-million download mark in August 2025, and continues to see strong adoption across the powered access industry.

The latest update strengthens ePAL’s role as a practical digital tool for powered access operators, supervisors and employers, making it easier to manage safety-critical information and demonstrate compliance when required.
