IPAF LATAM: Strong Growth and Expanding Reach

The powered access industry in Latin America continues to gain momentum, and IPAF is proud to be at the centre of this growth.

Across the region, we are seeing a significant increase in both new IPAF members joining the community and training activity being carried out at higher levels than ever before. This reflects a broader industry shift where IPAF training is increasingly being recognised and required by major contractors and industrial players as the benchmark for safe MEWP operations.

This is a clear indication that the industry is reaching a tipping point, where structured, certified training is no longer optional, but essential.

We are also excited to see new regions actively engaging with IPAF, with growing momentum in countries such as Costa Rica and Guatemala, further expanding our footprint in Central America.

With this continued growth comes the need to strengthen our regional support. We are therefore pleased to welcome Renato Pereira as our new Regional Representative for CONOSUR. His addition will allow us to better support our members, training centres, and stakeholders across the southern region, ensuring we continue to raise standards and deliver value locally.

This growth is not just about numbers, it is about building a stronger, safer, and more professional industry across Latin America.
