IPAF announces partnership with insurance broker Hendersons

Hendersons

Henderson Insurance Brokers, an AON company, has been announced as the preferred insurance partner of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), in a move that will benefit IPAF members in the UK and Ireland. The company also becomes the third to join IPAF’s new Sustaining Member category.

The tie-up sees Hendersons commit to working with IPAF to assist in finding insurance solutions for all IPAF members in the UK and Ireland, offering a comprehensive range of products including Owned Plant, Hired in Plant, Employers & Public Liability and Motor Fleet Insurance. IPAF and Hendersons will now work together to explore the possibility of offering an extended range of employee benefits, including private health insurance options.

Tim Whiteman, CEO of IPAF, comments: “It was a key objective of Nick Selley, IPAF’s Immediate Past President, during his time in office as President that we should explore such opportunities to increase the range of member benefits IPAF offers; we are pleased that this new partnership does just that.”

Richard Whiting, IPAF’s UK & Ireland General Market Manager, adds: “IPAF has worked together with Henderson Insurance Brokers for a number of years, and this new enhanced partnership is the result of several months of discussions about how best to extend an attractive new benefit to IPAF members.

“Our UK & Ireland members have expressed a great deal of interest in just such a service, so we hope those that don’t already use Henderson Insurance will get in touch with the team there to discuss their specific insurance needs.”

Justin Chadwick, Director of Henderson Insurance Brokers, comments: “Hendersons have been a specialist in the powered access industry for many years now and can offer exclusive policy covers at competitive premiums. Our policies are tailor-made to the client’s individual requirements to ensure they get the full coverage they require.

“Hendersons will offer a free due diligence check for any members insurance programme not currently with them as part of this agreement. This is for any area of cover including plant; liabilities, professional indemnity; commercial combined; motor fleet; management liability; or healthcare. We look forward to IPAF members getting in touch soon.”

Henderson Insurance Brokers will be joining IPAF on its stand at Vertikal Days, 404B. IPAF members are encouraged to ask to speak to the company’s representatives about their free due diligence review. To read about all IPAF member benefits &services see www.ipaf.org/benefits
