Freelance Auditor for IPAF members in Switzerland and France

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide in the broadest sense - by providing technical advice and information, by influencing legislation and standards and their interpretation, through safety initiatives and training programmes.

IPAF is a not-for-profit membership organisation. It is owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, dealers, contractors and users. IPAF members operate the majority of the world's MEWP rental fleets and manufacture around 85% of all machines on the market.

Your remit:

  • Working title: Auditor
  • Work location: Field -based in Switzerland, potentially France
  • Planning and conducting audits in accordance with applicable IPAF and regionally specific regulations in direct coordination with our UK and Swiss office for training centres and IPAF trainers.
  • Preparation and follow-up of audits including document review and reporting

Your competencies:

  • Qualified Lead Auditor Status in at least one of the following ISO standards:ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
  • Knowledge of conducting audits
  • Ideally, experience in the aerial work platform industry
  • Good written and spoken skills in German, French and English
  • High customer orientation and strong communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
