    IPAF Webinar: Work Life Balance

    This is the second webinar in the three-part IPAF Women in Powered Access series an outcome of the IPAF Women in Powered Access Initiative. Host Ali Moore is joined by panellist speakers Caroline Woodward, Pamela Penny and Marta Lucani.

  • As the anticipation builds for the International Awards for Powered Access 2024 (IAPAs), the shortlist can now be revealed following a meeting of the judges last week. Scheduled to take place on 14 March at the Scandic Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, the 2024 edition of the IAPAs promises to showcase the industry's commitment to excellence, safety, sustainability, and innovation.

  • A new standard to help equipment rental companies meet safety requirements and comply with legislation and to assist them in consistently delivering excellent customer service is set for launch at IPAF’s Asia Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, 3-4 August.

    THE PRINCIPLES OF MEWP RECOVERY AND RESCUE
  • The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has released a new guidance pack focused on the safe use and maintenance of batteries fitted to mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). 

  • Regular servicing, maintenance and inspection can prolong the lifespan of powered access equipment. In doing so, it ensures the equipment is safe, reliable, and remains compliant with global legislation and safety standards.

  • Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) rental companies should carry out a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) before the equipment is made available for hire. The purpose of this is to ensure the MEWP is operating within the specified design requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
