IPAF will be exhibiting at Vertikal Days 2025 on stand 426. This year’s stand will focus on two key areas: the IPAF 2025 safety campaign Stop Overturns! and emergency MEWP rescue and recovery procedures.
As part of the Stop Overturns! campaign, IPAF member machines will be used to demonstrate potential hazards that can lead to Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) overturns. These demonstrations will highlight common issues such as poor ground/surface conditions, incorrectly applied outriggers and pads, and unstable or sinking ground.
Inside the well-known IPAF tent, visitors can view videos from the Share Your Story campaign, which encourages operators to speak up about near misses and incidents to help improve safety. IPAF will also showcase a new member benefit focused on sustainability pathways, supporting members in their environmental goals.
Safety demonstrations on MEWP recovery and rescue will take place throughout the two-day event, led by IPAF’s Head of Safety & Technical, Brian Parker. He will also introduce and discuss the new guidance document The Principles of MEWP Recovery and Rescue, which will be officially launched during the show.
IPAF members have the opportunity to display their machines on the IPAF stand to demonstrate the safety campaign, if you are interested send an email to events@ipaf.org.
