Excitement is building as the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) prepares to host its 2024 summit in Copenhagen. With a stellar lineup of speakers and a theme focused on "Empowering the Next Generation," the event promises to address key topics related to the powered access industry. 

Taking place on March 14, the summit will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and young minds eager to shape the future landscape of powered access. Hosted by Alexandra Legouix, the summit will delve into the pivotal role of youth in driving the industry forward. 

At the heart of the summit lies a crucial question: How do we harness the energy of young talent to ensure the continuity and growth of our industry? This theme will be explored through a series of insightful presentations and discussions, uncovering the opportunities awaiting the next generation of powered access industry professionals. 

The lineup features youthful representatives from renowned companies and organisations. A panel session featuring Joao Lourenco from Transgrua, Jenni Roddis from Nationwide Platforms, Enio Navarro Vanzi (IPAF) and Thibaut Itzel from Terex will explore the expectations and ambitions of young professionals in powered access. The panel will be chaired by Karin Godenhielm, offering a platform for valuable insights and discussions. 

The event will also feature presentations highlighting innovative programs and addressing key issues facing the industry. Holly Broadhurst of JCB will showcase JCB’s pioneering talent development program, providing attendees with insights into strategies for nurturing the next generation of industry leaders. Ali Moore from BeMoore will address the challenges faced by Gen Z individuals, shedding light on barriers for those entering the powered access sector. Joel Särkkä, representing Renta, will share invaluable insights on future-proofing rental services, while David Hulme explores the profound impact of artificial intelligence on operational efficiency. 

Amanda Tan and Diego Bustamante from IPAF will provide comprehensive updates on the organisation's latest initiatives and strategic endeavours, giving attendees a glimpse into the future direction of the industry. Digital Marketing Manager Chris Greenbank will delve into the realm of ePAL technology and ‘Unlocking the path to a safer jobsite’ alongside Trackunit’s Domokos Speeder. Head of Safety & Technical, Brian Parker, in collaboration with Alana Paterson from Taylor Woodrow, will unveil IPAF's latest safety campaign, underscoring the industry's commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
