RESA Becomes First IPAF-Approved MCWP & Material Hoist Training Centre in Spain

RESA

IPAF is proud to announce that RESA Quality Factory, S.L. (RQF) has officially become the first IPAF-Approved Training Centre in Spain for Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs) and Material Hoists.

A subsidiary of the RESA Group, RQF has built a strong legacy of innovation, engineering excellence, and commitment to safety. Headquartered in Pinto (Madrid), the company offers tailored access and lifting services using its own patented, certified equipment, designed and manufactured in-house.

RESA’s journey began in 1982 with the founding of Andamios Resa, S.A. Over the years, the group expanded into the industrial sector and, by 1999, took its first steps into international markets with operations in Cuba. This momentum continued with the establishment of RESA Quality Factory in 2007, which consolidated the group’s engineering, R&D, and manufacturing capabilities under one roof.

The newly approved IPAF Training Centre reflects RESA’s longstanding focus on quality, innovation, and operator safety. It offers high-quality IPAF-accredited training courses for MCWPs and Material Hoists, further reinforcing IPAF’s presence in Spain and improving industry standards in powered access.

“Becoming an IPAF-Approved Training Centre is a natural progression of our commitment to health and safety,” said José Antonio Guillén, General Manager of GRUPO RESA. “We are proud to be the first in Spain to offer IPAF training for MCWPs and hoists – meeting the highest global standards for operator competence.”

Looking ahead, RESA is also exploring opportunities to expand its training offering into Saudi Arabia, where it continues to grow its presence. The company is assessing the development of a new IPAF Training Centre in the Kingdom to support the region’s strategic infrastructure growth and safety ambitions.
