    Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) Category 3a (e.g., scissor lifts) are sometimes fitted with extension decks, these can be single, or double deck extensions. The purpose of an extension deck is to provide additional horizontal outreach beyond the main deck of the platform.

    The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) successfully hosted the IPAF Asia Conference 2024 on 1-2 August at the Renaissance Nanjing Olympic Centre Hotel.     IPAF Updates Service, Inspection and Maintenance of MEWPs Leaflet in 10 Languages

    The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is pleased to announce the release of its updated leaflet on the service, inspection, and maintenance of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). This comprehensive leaflet has been updated to reflect the current industry landscape and is now available in ten languages: English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Chinese simplified, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Dutch.
