Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) provide a safe means for people to conduct temporary work at height. When buying a pre-owned MEWP, it must comply to the safety legislation and meet the relevant standards in the location where it will be operating before it can be used. Every MEWP must be supplied in a safe working condition, with all safety devices functional.

This workshop is part of a series of events around the UK to assist members in understanding the requirements of the IPAF Rental+ audit and to provide help with meeting these requirements.
Jason Woods, IPAF's Middle East & India Representative, will be on a panel at the conference, discussing helping the workforce understand how to better recognise and address Hazards.
Major construction projects are driving accelerated uptake of MEWP operator training in countries such as Denmark, where international contractors are insisting that all powered access users hold certification from an accredited IPAF training centre.
