The latest issue of Powered Access magazine has been published and is available to read online now. IPAF’s annual magazine for readers in the UK & Ireland features articles covering topics including the launch of IPAF's ePAL operator mobile app, how we are learning from accidents and near-misses, and a virtual round-table discussion on sustainability, as well as project case studies, IPAF news and member directory. Printed copies are being sent out with May's Construction Manager, the official magazine of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). CRUSHING CAN KILL - STAY ALERT, STAY ALIVE
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) are often used to carry out work in areas where there are risks of crushing or entrapment to the platform occupants. Any activity involving MEWPs must be planned and properly managed. Failure to do so can result in injury or death of the platform occupants.
