Brian Parker has worked in the powered access industry for over 25 years, formerly working for IPAF Member AFI-Uplift. Previous to that he served in the UK Forces - Royal Engineers for 8 years.
Ebbe Christensen Ebbe H. Christensen
President, Ruthmann Reachmaster North America
Ebbe is based in Texas, USA and pioneered the North American compact lift market in 2000 with the Falcon line through ReachMaster, Inc., later adding Denka atrium lifts. In 2008 he introduced Hinowa as a new track-based category, replacing it with Bluelift in 2010. In 2020 he sold ReachMaster, Inc. to Ruthmann Gmbh, and today Ruthmann Reachmaster is a part of the Time Manufacturing Group with continued focus on specialty lifts, including Bluelift, Almac and truckmounted units. Ebbe has served on IPAF’s North American Regional Council for more than a decade, latest as its past chair.

Mark Blundy
Group Director of Health & Safety, Bowmer + Kirkland

Mark has over 35 years’ experience in occupational health and safety, including over 15 years as a regulatory safety Construction Inspector with the HSE.  He takes an active interest in work at height safety with a diverse range of projects and specialist contracting companies within the B+K Group.  He represents users on the British Standards Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP)Technical Committee for BS 7981.
Alana Paterson Alana Paterson
Head of HSE, Nationwide Platforms
Alana has almost 20 years’ experience in construction health and safety prior to joining the access industry in August 2020 with Nationwide Platforms. She has worked for some of the UK’s Tier-1 Principal Contractors on major projects throughout the country. Safe working at height, including safe use of MEWPs is something that Alana has been passionate about for many years due to her experience working in the construction industry. Alana is a member of IPAF’s International Safety Committee and the UK Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group and actively contributes to a number of its working groups.
