Visitors to the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) stand at bauma 2022 in Munich, Germany, on 24-30 October will be invited to take a short safety quiz testing their knowledge of how to prevent falls from the platform, in line with IPAF’s Don’t Fall for It! safety campaign. Participants completing the quiz will be able to claim a limited-edition IPAF-branded water bottle, while stocks last.

IPAF will also showcase its Women in Powered Access Initiative (WIPA) on stand 350 in Hall C4, which tells the stories of female role models from different sectors of the powered access industry. The aims of WIPA are to encourage inclusion and diversity and identify career paths to inspire other women who may be interested in joining the industry, or those already in the industry but looking for a new direction to take within it.

IPAF will also engage with potential and existing member companies on a host of topics, including the IPAF Contractor and Safety Professional membership categories, the IPAF ePAL smartphone app for operators and managers of powered access, and the benefits of engaging with IPAF on safety, technical and training initiatives.

Qualifying IPAF members are also reminded they are eligible to claim a free version of IPAF’s Global Powered Access Rental Market Report; all those visiting IPAF’s stand will be able to review the 2022 edition of the award-winning report.

Peter Douglas, IPAF CEO & MD, says: “Bauma is, without doubt, one of the largest construction and associated trades exhibitions in the world; it will be good to meet with both existing and potential new members and our partner organisations who are in attendance, to showcase the significant developments IPAF has delivered against key objectives across the past three years or so.

“The IPAF Global Safety Report and associated safety guidance, the ePAL mobile app for operators and managers, IPAF’s new Safety Professional membership category, updates to our globally recognised training and the ongoing Women in Powered Access Initiative will all be prominent among the topics visitors can talk to us about on stand. We hope to see you there!”
