IPAF members invited to join the free digital ALH Conference

Members of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) are invited to register now to join the free online Access, Lift & Handlers (ALH) Conference, which will be hosted on Friday 23 October, beginning at 4 pm GMT+1, or 10 am Central USA time.

The conference is a must-attend event if you buy, use, rent or own mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), telehandlers, hoists and mast-climbing work platforms (MCWPs).

This year, owing to travel restrictions during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event will go ahead as a virtual conference, which offers industry stakeholders a chance to join the North American access and rental market to hear presentations, insight and to share lessons from the Covid-19 crisis.

Peter Douglas, IPAF’s CEO & MD, is among the speakers, which also includes IPAF President Norty Turner of United Rentals. The full line-up is as follows:

Keynote: Lessons learned from Covid-19
Norty Turner, senior vice president, services & advanced solutions, United Rentals.

Peter Douglas comments: “Whether you normally attend this great event in person, or haven’t attended before because of the time and expense involved in travelling, the fact that this year the ALH Conference is fully digital and free to stream online offers a great opportunity to join in from wherever you are in the world.

“In these difficult times, it is important for our industry to continue to come together, to share ideas, to support colleagues and counterparts and to share our thoughts about the challenges and opportunities we’ve all encountered over the past nine months. Once you’ve registered, the event can be streamed live to your home or office, wherever you are in the world. I hope you can join.”

● The ALH Conference is just one of a range of events both physical and virtual, webinars and online workshops in which IPAF will present, host or feature over the next six months and beyond.
