IPAF and Trackunit Launch IPAF Link App on Trackunit Marketplace

IPAF Link app TU Marketplace

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), in collaboration with Trackunit, proudly introduces the IPAF Link app, now available on the Trackunit Marketplace. This innovative application marks a significant stride in enhancing safety protocols for Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operators worldwide.

Developed in partnership with Trackunit, the IPAF Link app provides a dedicated platform for connecting and validating IPAF MEWP operators' licences and certificates within Trackunit Manager. By simplifying the validation process against the official IPAF database, the app ensures that only certified operators can access MEWPs, thereby reinforcing job site safety.

Speaking on the release, Giles Councell, IPAF’s Director of Operations, commented, "Through our partnership with Trackunit, IPAF is pleased to introduce the IPAF Link app, designed to elevate safety standards for MEWP operators globally. By integrating with Trackunit Manager, this application ensures real-time authentication of operators' certifications, reinforcing job site safety.”

Key features of the IPAF Link app include:

  • Real-Time Verification: Instant authentication of operators' IPAF licences ensures that each on-site user is fully certified
  • Comprehensive Overview: Effortless management and review of IPAF-certified operators' licences and certifications uphold impeccable safety standards
  • Integration with Physical IPAF PAL Cards: Automatic inclusion of operators' PAL Cards into their profiles facilitates seamless machine access
  • Efficient Bulk Profile Management: Streamlined addition of operator profiles through bulk import of licences saves valuable time and enhances operational efficiency
  • Simplified Identification: Quick retrieval and confirmation of an operator's identity using their IPAF ID and date of birth ensures precise and secure access to machinery

The IPAF Link app can be added through the Trackunit Marketplace for Trackunit customers with Access Management in Manager.

As a distinct offering, the IPAF Link app seeks to further advance safety in the powered access industry and on jobsites worldwide.
