Book now for Elevation 2019 in Coventry as event takes shape

Ray Cooke, UK HSE at IPAF Elevation 2018, in Coventry

IPAF reminds would-be attendees that its popular Elevation open meeting, conference and gala dinner is being reprised in 2019, at the same venue as last year, the DoubleTree by Hilton, Coventry, on 27 November, with booking now open as the event programme takes shape.

Among planned topics will be a discussion about developments in secondary guarding, while the main conference programme will also feature contributions from Ray Cooke, from UK HSE, Paul Godfrey of the British Materials Handling Federation, Karl Baum, MD of F-Tec, talking about the new Lift, Truck and Powered Access Technician Apprenticeship, David Bishop, Deputy CEO of Build UK, and Graham Brown of the Association of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems UK.

Giles Councell, Operations Director, and Richard Whiting, UK & Ireland Market General Manager, will present IPAF updates, while Tim Whiteman, CEO & MD, will officially host the event. Peter Douglas, former IPAF board member, will give an update about the No Falls Foundation, of which he is a trustee.

Tim Whiteman comments: “Last year the exciting new format of Elevation was a bit of an unknown, but the excellent line-up of speakers, networking events, gala dinner and evening entertainment combined to set the bar pretty high; we are confident that the 2019 edition is already shaping up to be equally enticing and informative.

“I urge all interested parties to take a moment to visit www.ipaf.org/elevation for more details about the programme of speakers and events as they are announced and to book without delay.”

Before Elevation in November there will be a West Midlands Regional IPAF meeting, to be held on the evening 18 September at the Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa (formerly known as the Hilton Birmingham Bromsgrove Hotel). More details about the line-up of speakers will be announced in due course, please check www.ipaf.org/events for more details of this and other upcoming IPAF meetings and events near you.
