Advancing Work-at-Height Safety in Qatar and UAE

MEWP in middle east

With two major events lined up for October, IPAF is continuing to drive safety awareness across the Middle East – starting in Doha and then Abu Dhabi.

These regional workshops aim to support safer working practices, raise awareness of industry standards, and bring together safety leaders, operators, and stakeholders across the access equipment sector.

HSE Workshop – Doha, Qatar

Where: Salwa Rd & C Ring Rd, Doha
When: 18 October 2025
Time: 13:00–17:00 (local time)

Hosted free of charge and open to IPAF members and non-members, IPAF’s HSE Workshop in Doha is tailored to safety managers, site supervisors and equipment operators invested in reducing risk and improving compliance in the powered access field.

The event will feature expert-led presentations, interactive discussions and practical demonstrations focused on safe and compliant use of access equipment. With a growing emphasis on health and safety in Qatar’s construction and maintenance sectors, this session offers timely value and actionable insights for organisations across the region.

Jason Woods, IPAF’s Middle East and South Asia Regional Manager, said:

“Working at height remains one of the most critical safety challenges across industries. This workshop is a chance for professionals to come together and share insights on global best practices, regulatory updates and the latest innovations in powered access equipment. By attending, you’re not only investing in safety, but you’re also helping to build a stronger, more responsible culture across the entire sector.”
