IPAF Wins Publication of the Year at 2026 Trade Association Forum Awards
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has been recognised at the UK Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards, winning Publication of the Year for its Global Safety Report 2025.
The annual report provides critical insights into incidents involving mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and other powered access equipment, helping the industry better understand the causes of accidents and identify measures that can improve safety when working at height.
The award recognises the report’s role in supporting the powered access industry with data-driven insights that inform training, safety campaigns and best-practice guidance worldwide.
A key strength of the IPAF Global Safety Report is its foundation in real-world data collected through IPAF’s Accident Reporting Portal, which allows companies and individuals across the industry to confidentially report powered access incidents. This data enables IPAF to analyse trends, highlight common causes of incidents and provide practical recommendations to improve safety.

“We are incredibly proud to receive the Publication of the Year award for the Global Safety Report,” said Brian Parker, Head of Safety & Technical at IPAF. “This recognition reflects the collective effort of our members around the world who share incident data through our Accident Reporting Portal. Their contributions allow us to build a clearer picture of the risks faced by those working at height and help the entire industry learn from incidents and improve safety.”
Published annually, the Global Safety Report forms a key part of IPAF’s ongoing commitment to improving safety in the powered access sector by promoting transparency, data sharing and continuous learning.
The digital IPAF Global Safety Report 2025 is available to view online and the 2026 report will be published later this year.
