IPAF NA Webinar: What is compliant MEWP operator training?
This webinar explores what constitutes compliant operator training for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) under current industry standards such as ANSI A92 and CSA B354. Participants will gain an understanding of the key requirements for training programs, including both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical evaluation, as well as the responsibilities of employers, supervisors, and operators.
The session will also highlight best practices to ensure operators are properly trained, familiarized, authorized and ongoing competency to operate equipment safely, helping organizations improve compliance and reduce workplace risks.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) had a strong presence at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, held from 3–7 March at the Las Vegas Convention Center, showcasing its work in safety, training and industry collaboration for work at height.
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has been recognised at the UK Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards, winning Publication of the Year for its Global Safety Report 2025.
IPAF and KHL Group announces that the 2026 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) and the IPAF Summit, scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on 21 and 22 April, will be rescheduled to 14 and 15 October this year.
