IPAF at Vertikal Days 2025: What to Expect

IPAF is proud to return to Vertikal Days 2025 as the official visitor registration sponsor and exhibitor. Visitors can find IPAF at Stand 426, where the federation will showcase its 2025 global safety campaign focused on preventing MEWP overturns: a critical issue impacting the powered access industry worldwide.

In addition, IPAF will unveil a new recovery and rescue guidance document designed to support emergency response procedures and clarify best practices for safe extraction during entrapment or equipment malfunction. To accompany this, live demonstrations of real-world scenarios will take place to raise awareness and improve training.

Throughout the event, IPAF will also be encouraging visitors to sign up to the PAINT (Powered Access Industry Trust) initiative, which is raising funds for cancer research. To take part, companies can nominate a piece of equipment in their fleet as their dedicated ‘PAINT machine’. Each time this machine is hired out, a proportion of the revenue can be donated to support cancer research. Participating organisations will be recognised and celebrated at an annual industry awards ceremony.

There will also be two IPAF committee meetings at the event:

  1. The Annual Open Meeting of the IPAF Rental+ Committee, convened by Martin Wraith, IPAF Rental+ Scheme Manager, on Wednesday morning.
  2. The UK and Ireland MCWP & Hoist Working Group, convened by Angel Ibanez, IPAF Manager for MCWP and Related Products, on Thursday morning. In this meeting, we will also pay tribute to Kevin O'Shea who passed away recently. He served as Chair of the IPAF MCWP & Hoist International Committee for many years and was a prominent and active advocate for the promotion of safety in our industry for several decades.

Visitors and industry stakeholders are encouraged to stop by the IPAF stand for networking, updates on training programmes, and insights into the latest safety resources aimed at preventing incidents and saving lives in powered access.

Don't miss IPAF at Vertikal Days 2025 – Stand 426 – 10-11 September, Newark Showground.
