The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is proud to announce its participation in the "Giornate Italiane del Sollevamento" (GIS) exhibition, taking place from October 5th to 7th, 2023, in Piacenza, Italy. Visitors can find IPAF at stand I59 in the external area.

The ninth edition of GIS is set to be a record edition in terms of the number of exhibitors registered and the expected number of visitors. IPAF’s stand will be a meeting point for all IPAF members to discuss safety and to share ideas about the powered access industry. During the afternoon of the 5th of October, IPAF will celebrate the federation’s 40th anniversary with an aperitif.

IPAF CEO and Managing Director Peter Douglas commented on the federation’s participation at GIS: “It is a great pleasure for me be at the GIS with the Italian team of IPAF. This is my second time at this exhibition, and I am delighted to meet our Italian members and to celebrate together the 40th anniversary of IPAF”.

In conclusion, IPAF’s stand will showcase the High Voltage safety campaign. The aim is to explains how to work safely and to avoid the risks when working near power lines, considering that the number of powered access incidents involving electrocutions and electric shocks associated with power lines have notably increased since 2015.
