IPAF will exhibit at Swissbau 2026, the leading biennial trade fair for the construction and property industry in Switzerland. The event takes place from 20–23 January 2026 at the Messe Basel, with an additional day on 24 January dedicated to interior construction activities.

Swissbau brings together a wide cross-section of professionals involved in all phases of the building lifecycle. National and international exhibitors present innovations, trends and solutions across the construction, architectural and real estate sectors, while networking platforms and themed zones offer live demonstrations and expert dialogue.

This year, IPAF will exhibit again within the craftsmen sector – a dynamic area of Swissbau designed to celebrate craftsmanship and hands-on skill. Through its presence in the craftsmen sector, IPAF reinforces how skilled trades and safe powered access go hand in hand on modern construction sites.

Roger Grossnikaus, IPAF Regional Manager for Switzerland and French-speaking Countries, said:

“This year, IPAF – together with Handwerker – die Sieger, the craftsmanship promoters, and A1-AG, an IPAF training centre – will operate a live demonstration area. At this feature space, visitors will have the opportunity to step into a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) and experience the sensation of elevation. This interactive element provides a unique platform to engage attendees in real-world discussions about safety, from pre-use preparation to safe operation.”

The live area aims to spark meaningful conversations about workplace safety among craftsmen, exhibitors, architects, builders and other professionals attending Swissbau, reinforcing the importance of proper training and risk awareness when working at height.
