IPAF to exhibit at Platformers’ Days 2024 in Karlsruhe

Platformers' Days

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is excited to announce our participation in the upcoming Platformers' Days 2024, a premier trade fair for aerial working platforms, cranes, and forklifts in the DACH region. The event, which will take place from 6 to 7 September 2024 at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre, promises to be a lively gathering for industry leaders, innovators, and professionals.

For 25 years, Platformers' Days has been the go-to event for key players in the industry, offering a unique opportunity for intensive product consultations, knowledge transfer, and networking. With over 12,500 m² of indoor exhibition space and 20,000 m² of outdoor exhibition area, including a 1,000 m² Demo Area, the trade fair provides an exceptional platform for live demonstrations and direct comparisons of the latest machinery and technology.

The IPAF team will attend this event, focusing on two critical industry topics: the global safety campaign "Crushing Can Kill" and the IPAF Rental Standard. These topics are of great importance to the industry, and IPAF is committed to driving safety awareness and operational excellence.

The "Crushing Can Kill" campaign is a global safety initiative aimed at reducing accidents caused by crushing incidents in the use of powered access equipment. At Platformers' Days, visitors will have the opportunity to engage with this campaign through interactive presentations and a safety quiz, similar to the one IPAF conducted at Intermat in Paris. This quiz will not only educate participants but also test their knowledge of best practices and safety standards in a practical, engaging manner.

Janina Hintermayer, IPAF’s Regional Manager for Germany and Austria, commented: “Platformers' Days is one of the highlights in IPAF’s event calendar and we are delighted to be part of it again in this year. We are looking forward to seeing many familiar and unfamiliar faces. Visit us at our stand H222 and find out more about our IPAF Rental Standard, our current safety campaign "Crushing can kill" or take part in our short safety quiz and test your knowledge!”

In addition to the safety campaign, IPAF will delve deeper into the IPAF Rental Standard, a comprehensive framework designed to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of rental operations. This standard is a vital tool for rental companies aiming to align with industry best practices and achieve operational excellence.

IPAF invites all attendees to visit stand H222 to learn more about these initiatives, participate in the safety quiz, and explore how IPAF is shaping the future of safety and standards in the powered access industry.
