In support of the UK government’s ‘Build Back Greener’ strategy and the national target to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, this member benefit provides access to tailored online sustainability learning pathways via the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

This exciting bite-size learning equips IPAF members with the tools and knowledge they need to lead on sustainability, improve business practices, and align with growing industry expectations. As environmental responsibility becomes an essential part of doing business, contractors are increasingly prioritising sustainability credentials in their tendering processes – particularly when selecting fleet rental partners.

Through IPAF’s sustainability pathways, members can:

  • Gain critical sustainability knowledge aligned with industry standards
  • Improve performance in tender bids by demonstrating a clear commitment to sustainable operations
  • Position their businesses as proactive partners in achieving Net Zero goals

The two learning pathways are:

  • IPAF Learning Pathway for MEWP Management (including supervisors, managers and business owners)
  • IPAF Learning Pathway for MEWP Users (including operators, delivery drivers and engineers)

Each pathway takes on average two hours to complete, and members will receive an IPAF Sustainability Badge upon completion.
