IPAF Webinar: IPAF Global Safety Report

This webinar will examine the latest IPAF Global Safety Report which is informed by data submitted to IPAF’s Accident Reporting Portal from 2012 to 2022. The webinar will examine trends and touch on the culture and approach of capturing and reporting data.

Being informed of accident statistics can identify training requirements for all who use powered access. Knowing where hazards lie and how to minimise them reflects IPAF’s aim of promoting the safe and effective use of powered access.

This webinar will be broadcast via Zoom and will be in English, featuring simultaneous translation in Italian, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Korean  and Chinese. Simultaneous translation is only available when watching live, using the free Zoom desktop or mobile app. It will not be available if you watch using your web browser. *Please note simultaneous translation is provided subject to demand. IPAF reserves the right to cancel this feature if minimum numbers are not met.

A recording will be available on IPAF's YouTube channel after the webinar, for anyone unable to watch live.

Mark has 25 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety, 15 years of which was spent specialising in work at height and plant safety. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety and Health, the Chartered Institute of Building and is a Chartered Environmentalist.  He is the current Chair of IPAF’s International Safety Committee and holds a position on IPAF’s UK Council. He has also been an active member of the UK’s Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group and various IPAF works groups for more than 10 years.

Rob Cavaleri, Regional Training, Safety & Compliance Manager, Manlift Middle East, and Member, IPAF Middle East Council and Member, IPAF International Safety Committee. Rob has over 37 years of experience in the access industry, including in Australia, the US, Europe, India and the Middle East. He joined the access industry in 1985 beginning with aluminium towers and light swinging stages, followed by telescopic handlers, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and power generators. Rob’s efforts are predominantly around continuous improvement in rental, sales, operations, technical, and training for the Manlift Riwal Group.

Kevin is Chairman of the IPAF International MCWP Committee and has been in the Powered Access Industry since 1986 and has been involved with IPAF since the 1990s.
