Booking open, first speakers confirmed for Europlatform 2019

Europlatform 2019 to be hosted by IPAF in Nice, France

The first speakers have been announced for Europlatform 2019, to be hosted by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in Nice, France, on 3 October, in conjunction with Access International magazine, official media partner for the event.

Europlatform is firmly established as the essential annual event for professionals in the powered access rental industry, and this year delegates at the Hotel Le Negresco in the French Riviera will hear from a range of speakers on international issues around Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). The conference has the theme “MEWPs 4.0”, focusing on the powered access rental market of the future in terms of technology, power sources, innovation and the use of big data to drive up standards of safety and efficiency.

Speakers confirmed so far include: Olivier Colleau, President,of Kiloutou, who will give the morning keynote address; Angus Kennard, CEO, Kennards Hire the afternoon keynote address.; David McNicholas, CEO of AFI-Uplift; Clotilde Jouette, Business Strategy & Marketing Manager at Avesco Rent; Audrey Courant, Managing Director of market research specialist DuckerFrontier, which compiles the award-winning IPAF Global Powered Access Rental Market Reports; and Valeriy Klimenko, regional managing director of Fortrent, a member of the Russian Rental Association.

Further speakers will be added to the line-up in due course, and simultaneous translation into French will be available throughout. There will also be a number of opportunities to meet other delegates in a relaxed environment, including a networking event on the 2 October, the evening before the main event, at the same venue.
