IPAF Women in Powered Access Networking Breakfast at APEX

A dedicated breakfast event aimed at providing a networking space for women working across powered access will be hosted by IPAF during APEX 2026, as part of IPAF’s ongoing Women in Powered Access (WiPA) initiative. The special breakfast event will be hosted on 3 June between 08:30 - 09.30 in the Bar Bistro Saam restaurant at the MECC, where APEX 2026 will be held. At this informal networking breakfast, we’ll have speakers communicating the support they’ve had in their careers within the powered access industry.

IPAF ELEVAÇÃO 2026

Organised by IPAF, the International Powered Access Federation, IPAF ElevAÇÃO 2026, now in its 13th edition, follows the format of other similar events that IPAF organises in Europe and North America. The event will take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, at the Hotel Terras Altas in Itapecerica da Serra, in the São Paulo metropolitan area. We will have a full programme aimed at all professionals in the sector, starting at 10.00 am with a welcome coffee and concluding with a networking dinner.

The IPAF Professional Development Seminar (PDS) is an essential event for IPAF-approved instructors and Training Centres Admin. It provides the latest updates on training standards, safety guidance, and technical developments, ensuring that instructors maintain the highest levels of knowledge and competence. Attending a PDS counts towards an instructor’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements and helps keep IPAF training consistent and up to date across the UK. Instructors will receive 6 CPD points for attending one of the sessions.

There are 30 places available at the PDS in Bristol, it will take place at Davis Access premises on 21 May 2026, 17:30 - 20:00. To register, email [email protected].

IPAF will exhibit on stand C.20 alongside a selection of its approved training centre members, including Driving Graubünden, Indupro AG, Kompetenzzentrum für Arbeitssicherheit AG and Swiss Logistic Academy AG, showcasing the importance of high-quality training and the safe use of powered access equipment.

MBAM Annual Safety & Health Conference 2026

The 13th annual National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction will be held May 4th-8th, 2026. The Stand-Down is an opportunity to pause work to improve fall prevention planning and talk about fall safety with crews, crew leaders, and everyone on your jobsite. Employers have conversation with workers about fall hazards, protective methods, and the company’s safety policies, goals and expectations. Workers learn about fall prevention and protection, talk to management about fall hazards they see, and provide input about how to improve safety at work.
