The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is pleased to announce the upcoming IPAF Middle East Conference 2024, scheduled to take place on October 16th at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Saudi Arabia. This event promises to be a cornerstone for professionals and stakeholders within the powered access equipment industry, offering a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.

  • The IPAF Asia Conference & Showcase event made a successful return on 28-29 July at the Singapore EXPO & Hilton Orchard Singapore – with more than 250 physical attendees joining the first in-person edition of the event since the pandemic.

  • A new representative to assist IPAF’s members in Spain has been appointed, with Ainara Greño taking up the post as Spain Regional Manager with immediate effect.

  • IPAF will be exhibiting at Stand 540 and looks forward to welcoming everyone who wants to know more about safety in the use of powered access platforms at height.

  • Operators can now benefit from quality ISO-certified MEWP training in Estonia and Latvia, which join Lithuania in being able to offer courses developed by IPAF via Ramirent, which now has IPAF-certified training centres across the Baltic countries.

  • MEWP rental markets continued to recover strongly after the pandemic in 2021 and early 2022, despite clouds on the horizon caused by global uncertainty, according to the latest IPAF Global Powered Access Rental Market Report, compiled by Ducker.

  • After a two-year hiatus during the pandemic, IPAF’s Innovate workshop is back on the agenda and scheduled for September 28 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel in Chicago, IL, a day in advance of the ALH Conference at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel Rosemont.

  • IPAF has announced bookings are now open for its Asia Conference 2022 event, to be held on 28-29 July at the Singapore EXPO & Hilton Orchard Singapore – the first time since the coronavirus pandemic that the event has been held in person.

  • Falls from the platform, electrocution and platform overturns are the most common incidents leading to serious injuries and deaths over the past ten years, according to the latest IPAF Global Safety Report, based on analysis of anonymised accident data.

  • IPAF has announced that bookings are now open including an early bird discount throughout the month of July for the 14th Europlatform conference on Thursday, 15 September 2022, at the Grand Hotel Palatino, Rome, Italy.

  • An initiative that aims to recognise and celebrate the contributions of women in powered access, as well as outlining career pathways for women both already in the industry and seeking to enter it, has been launched by IPAF at Vertikal Days 2022.
