IPAF Asia Conference & Showcase 2018 booking up quickly

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

IPAF’s Asia Conference & Showcase is the only conference in the South East Asia region focusing solely on powered access. The 2018 edition takes place at the KL Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 18-19 July, and reservations for this not-to-be-missed international event are open and booking quickly

The event features a product showcase, gala dinner and an exceptional line-up of conference speakers that includes Kang Han Fei (Aerial Lift & Equipment), Amanda Tan (IPAF), Janne Haapalainen (Scan-Rent), Johnson Lai (Keng Guan Skylift) and Tan Kee Chong (OSH Specialist Department, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore).

Tim Whiteman, IPAF’s CEO, Nick Selley, IPAF President, Angel Ibanez, IPAF Global Representative for MCWPs & Related Products, and Andrew Delahunt, IPAF’s Director of Technical & Safety, also feature among the speakers. There will be simultaneous translations in Chinese available for delegates.

The conference will feature the following topics: How technology is driving safety and productivity in MEWPs; the versatility of MCWPs; working safely with MCWPs and hoists; low-level access solutions compared to working with ladders; why Singapore is adopting the use of MEWPs; and a statistical report on the SE Asia rental market.

Tim Whiteman comments: “The IPAF Asia Conference & Showcase has gone from strength-to-strength and this will be the seventh edition of what is now the foremost event of its kind solely focused on powered access in the South-East Asia region.

“Last year’s event in Changsha, China, drew the best attendance yet, and we’re excited to bring the event to Malaysia for the first time. There’s a vibrant powered access industry here and our conference partner the Master Builders Association Malaysia is very well recognised and can help bring IPAF’s MEWP & MCWP safety and technical guidance and business intelligence to the widest possible audience.

“I urge anyone with an interest in MEWP operations anywhere in Asia to take a look at the finalised conference programme and reserve your place at what will surely be another excellent and unmissable date in IPAF’s global events calendar.”
