IPAF US Convention

IPAF held its first ever national event in the US focusing on current issues in the aerial lift and mast climbing work platform (MCWP) industry, on November 1 and 2, 2011 in Chicago. This member event was also open to non-members.

Speakers included John Newquist from Illinois OSHA, Paul Penzkover from Mortenson Construction, and Kevin Groman, senior vice-president of RSC Equipment Rentals. Topics covered ranged from accident analysis and employer responsibilities, to making sustainability profitable, and the size of the rental market. IPAF plans to hold the US Convention annually. If you work with aerial lifts and MCWPs – either as a manager, operator or instructor and want to keep up to date with industry developments, as well as have the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the US, you should attend this event.
