Compliance/non-compliance of machinery

The Market Surveillance Industry Support Platform (http://machinery-surveillance.eu) is a joint initiative from several machinery sectors, in which FEM, including IPAF, played a crucial role. It provides a resource database of technical documentation on compliance, through a single access point, for market surveillance authorities and market operators (importers, contractors, distributors, etc.). The website features technical documents put together by FEM and includes various CECE brochures to assist in the recognition of non-compliant products.

European Commission presentations and the signed manifesto on key actions for better market surveillance can be found here: http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/sectors/mechanical/machinery/market-surveillance/index_en.htm
