Full line-up of speakers confirmed for IPAF Asia Conference

The final line-up of speakers has been confirmed for the sixth IPAF Asia Conference, which will take place on 13 June 2017 at the Meixi Lake Hotel in the historic city of Changsha, capital of Hunan province in China.

Tim Rule, Vice President – Market Development at United Rentals, will discuss the challenges rental companies face in growing their business in competitive markets.  Without a solid strategy to determine which business segments they’ll play in, which customers they’ll serve, which fleet they’ll carry and how they’ll differentiate their value proposition in the marketplace, they’ll eventually end up with suboptimal margins and disappointed shareholders.  In my presentation, I’ll present an overview of United Rentals, describe key challenges rentals companies face in competitive markets and discuss some of the strategies United Rentals has used to overcome them.

“The IPAF Asia Conferences provides a great venue to network, learn and stay abreast of developments in the industry,” he comments.
